Introduction
This guide walks you through converting $sMPC back into $MPC.
You will:
- Initiate the unstake request
- Wait through the defined cooldown period
- Redeem $MPC
The process is predictable and defined by the Sceptre protocol.
Before You Start
Make sure:
- You hold $sMPC in your wallet
- Your wallet is connected
- You understand there is a defined 14-day cooldown period before redemption

Desktop Instructions
Step 1 — Navigate to the Staking Dashboard
Visit: https://app.sceptre.fi/partisia
Verify the URL before connecting.
Step 2 — Connect Wallet
Click “Connect Wallet” and approve the connection.
Once connected, your $MPC balance appears.
Step 3 — Initiate Unstake
Locate the “Unstake” section.
Enter the amount of $sMPC you wish to convert back to $MPC.
You may partially unstake or use your full balance.
Step 4 — Approve the Transaction
Click “Unstake.”
Your wallet will open.
Review:
- Amount
- Network
- Gas fee
Approve the transaction.
Step 5 — Cooldown Period
After approval, your unstake request enters a defined cooldown period (14 days).
During this time:
- The unstaked portion stops earning rewards
- No further action is required
- The countdown will be visible in the dashboard
Step 6 — Redeem $MPC
Once the cooldown completes, a “Redeem” or “Claim” button becomes available.
Click to complete the process.
Approve the final transaction in your wallet.
Step 7 — Confirm $MPC Returned
After confirmation:
- Your $MPC balance increases
- Your $sMPC balance decreases
Unstaking is complete.

Step 1 — Open Dashboard in Mobile Browser
Go to: https://app.sceptre.fi/partisia
Verify the URL.
Step 2 — Connect Wallet
Tap “Connect Wallet.”
Approve in wallet app.
Step 3 — Enter Unstake Amount
Tap into the unstake field and enter the amount.
Step 4 — Approve Request
Confirm in your wallet app.
Step 5 — Monitor Cooldown
Check the dashboard periodically.
Wait for redemption availability.
Step 6 — Redeem $MPC
Tap “Redeem” when available.
Approve final transaction.
Troubleshooting
Cooldown not complete yet?
Wait until the full 14-day cooldown period has passed. The countdown indicator shows remaining time.
Forgot to redeem?
Your redemption remains available for 2 days after cooldown. Return to the dashboard to complete the process. If you don’t redeem your tokens within 2 days, they are automatically restaked and you’ll receive the corresponding amount of $MPC in your wallet.
Transaction failed?
Check network status and confirm sufficient BYOC for fees.
If issues persist, contact Sceptre support or the Partisia community.

No. Rewards stop accruing on the unstaked portion once the request is initiated.

Yes, rewards are accrued during the 2-week cooldown period and are counted until the moment you claim your $MPC.
